Update - 15 March

We are continuing to experience service delays due to the recent heavy rain and flooding with the impact being seen not only at BINGO, but across the entire Greater Sydney waste network. 

We are seeing the significant impacts of the weather on waste facilities and services, particularly at the third party landfills where BINGO disposes of its C&I waste.

Some of the current challenges include:
1) Disposal/Processing of waste - Recycling and landfill infrastructure and across Greater Sydney is currently under considerable duress due to the impacts of flooding. 

Currently a number of transfer stations and landfill sites are closed or limiting third party access.  

2) Waste Collection –The capacity issue at disposal and/or processing facilities is having a knock-on effect on collections services and the ability for waste to be collected from customers in a timely manner to avoid unintended environmental concerns.

We are working hard with the government, industry and our supply chain to minimize impacts and delays to our services for our customers. We appreciate your understanding as we work through these challenges. 

Please keep your bins in the usual place as we attempt to service your bin within the coming days.
